Bright, glossy berries
Alba is an early-ripening strawberry variety with a compact harvest period and excellent flavor. The berries are uniformly shaped and conical, with very firm flesh. The skin is a medium red with an attractive sheen. The plant is vigorous with tall foliage and good resistance to leaf and root diseases. This variety is ideally suited for early season sales. Note the plant’s sensitivity to herbicides.
