Amandine is a remontant strawberry variety with a good yield and a high percentage of Class 1 fruit. During the harvest period, picking every 3-4 days is possible. The fruit is aromatically sweet with an optimal sugar-acid balance. The strawberry plant is medium-sized, with firm fruit and good storage life. The strawberries have a heart-shaped to spherical form and a glossy red skin that darkens slightly during storage. Amandine is a very healthy, vigorous plant with upright foliage. Thanks to its long flower stalks, picking is easy. This robust variety exhibits good resistance to powdery mildew. This variety is very well suited for direct marketing.
