Early-maturing variety with excellent flavor
Darselect is an early-maturing standard variety, well-suited for early harvesting. The fruits grow uniformly, are conical in shape, and are a good size. The flavor is good to very good. The strawberry plant is vigorous, with a broad growth habit, and thrives in soils with a pH below 7. Darselect is slightly susceptible to spider mites and powdery mildew. It is popular with organic farms and pick-your-own farms.
