The Malwina strawberry variety is currently the latest June-bearing variety on the market. It boasts good yields with a high proportion of Class 1 fruit. It ripens approximately three weeks after Elsanta. This variety produces large berries with dark red flesh. The flavor is good when picked light-colored and excellent when fully ripe. The berries are ideal for processing. The plant is very vigorous and robust, with dark green foliage. Malwina’s flowers are located beneath the leaves, and it is self-fertile. It should be noted that, due to the late harvest, it may be susceptible to thrips and blossom weevils.
Sales start at 3,000 plants per grower per year.
