The strawberry variety Rumba is an early-maturing standard variety that has gained popularity among growers who both sell strawberries directly to consumers and supply retailers. This variety has a stable harvest period, which is noticeably longer than that of Clery. Rumba produces high yields with a high proportion of Class 1 fruit. It impresses with glossy, medium-red berries and a good aroma. The fruit bodies are conical, large, and exhibit excellent storage life. Rumba is a vigorous plant with a broad growth habit and is suitable for early cultivation using fleece or foil, as well as for tunnel cultivation. The plant is somewhat sensitive to waterlogging.
