Very late-maturing variety with good flavor and excellent shelf life
Cadenza (FE2134) is a very late-maturing strawberry variety from Fresh Forward with good flavor and good shelf life. Its ripening time falls between Faith and Malwina. The berries have a vibrant, bright red, glossy skin. Cadenza exhibits good productivity, with average fruit weight and a high percentage of Class 1 berries. Fruit quality is consistently high, with few misshapen berries. When cultivating this variety, it should be noted that the plant is slightly susceptible to powdery mildew and, like many late-maturing varieties, can be quite vigorous.
